- Two players start on the far baseline, each with a ball.
- On the near baseline, the team is divided into three lines (as if doing a 3 man weave). The players at the front of each line step out – there should be a ball in the hands of the middle player.
- The next player in each of the outside lines should have a ball too, for a total of 5 balls.
- The 3 players who stepped out onto the floor begin the drill with a 3 man weave.
- The player who shoots the layup on the other end of the floor grabs his/her own rebound.
- The other two players who were in the weave spot up and receive passes from the two players waiting with balls on the baseline. They shoot, get their own rebound, and wait on the baseline for the next group.
- The passers then return down the floor in a 3 man weave with the player who shot the layup. One player shoots a layup and the others receive passes from the two players waiting with balls and shoot- they get their own rebound and pass to the next waiting person on the outside lines.
- Meanwhile, the passers and the next person in the middle line secure the layup rebound and begin the drill again.
- This continues for a set time.
